Uterine Artery Embolization: Getting the Word Out
ZDS Communications was retained by Hill Medical Corp., a physicians group comprised of a dozen specialized radiologists, to seek media exposure (also known as earned media) for its physicians performing Uterine Fibroid Embolization, a nonsurgical alternative to hysterectomy for women with fibroids. Our campaign resulted in front-page articles in the Torrance Daily Breeze, The Los Angeles Times (Crenshaw and Inglewood edition) and the Pasadena Weekly. Hill physicians also were featured in articles in the Star Newspaper and were interviewed on KPCC FM radio. ZDS Communications further organized and executed several public lectures for Hill physicians, which were publicized in local media and attended by an average of 40 potential patients, each.
